Where do we go?

For the morning Mitzvah service:

Guests attending the morning service should enter Temple Emanuel through doors at the Grape Street entrance (parking lot for entrance is between 1ˢᵗ and Ellsworth off Grape). As you enter the building through the doors off of the circular drive, the sanctuary where the service will be held is on your right. The service will start promptly at 9:00 am and conclude at 10:45 am. There will be a kiddish brunch to follow in the North Social Hall and all guests are invited to stay for brunch. Please RSVP accordingly if you intend to join us for brunch. You do not need to RSVP for the service portion as there are plenty of seats available for everyone.

Guests arriving by car service or having parents drive them to the synagogue, should plan to be picked up at the same location as drop off between 12:00 and 12:30 pm. Parking may be limited at 12:00 pm due to other events happening this day at Temple Emanuel, but street parking is easily available should parents want to come in to collect their child from the North Social Hall.

For the Evening Party:

Guests arriving by car service or having parents drive them to the evening party may be dropped off at the front doors of Hangar Club (on the east side of the building).

Please RSVP accordingly if you are planning to attend this evening’s celebration. Plan to pick up at the same location as drop off by 10:00 pm. There will be plenty of parking available should parents want to come in and collect their child.

For parents sending their children unattended, there will be a lot of young adults at this party as Asher and Noa are siblings and attend two different schools. The evening will include a lot of activities for young people with plenty of adult support for them to enjoy the night.

What should we wear?

For the service:

Clothing: Button-down shirts and slacks for young men and a nice dress, blouse and skirt, or pants are all great options for young women. Traditionally men will wear a suit or sport coat and slacks. Women should wear a modest, dressy outfit such as a dress, skirt and blouse or a pantsuit.
Head Coverings: If you'd like to wear a kippah (Jewish head covering for men), we've got you covered—literally. They will be available at the entrance.

For the evening party:

The evening event at Hangar Club will be party attire, so come prepared to dance the night away! No jeans please. Sneakers are great for young adults at this party.

Where should we stay?

For guests traveling from out of town to attend the B'nai Mitzvah all of the events are within a 15 minute drive of Denver's Cherry Creek North neighborhood. We have reserved room blocks at two convenient hotels.

Discounted rates have been acquired at the following hotels. Please reference the Nathan B'nai Mitzvah when booking your reservation.

Hotel Clio, Cherry Creek and DoubleTree Hotel, Denver Cherry Creek

Please note: The cut off date for booking these hotels is October 15th.

How do we get around Denver?

In Denver, Lyft and Uber are widely used.

If you are staying at the Clio, valet parking is available at the hotel ($65 per night).
The DoubleTree has self-parking available ($15 a day).
The synagogue is located about 1.5 miles from each hotel/7 minutes away.
The evening party at Hangar Club is located about 3.5 miles from each hotel/12 minutes away.
There will be plenty of complimentary parking at the synagogue and at Hangar Club should you want to drive.

December weather can be variable, should you choose to drive to the evening party at Hangar Club please be responsible.
